a My father Anuj Aggarwal had booked an air ticked via Makemytrip with BookingID-NF2202150804211(26/11/2015) for my sister and his daughter Priya Aggarwal. It was from Chandigarh to Ranchi but later flight got rescheduled s.t. chandigarh flight would reach after delhi flight and then i could not board the connecting flight from delhi to ranchi. When I brought up the issue with Makemytrip and AirIndia whereby he asked for a refund for Chandigarh to Delhi flight and wanted to be allowed to board the Delhi to Ranchi flight, in a conference call with Deepak from makemytrip and Mohammed Zuber from AirIndia it was refused citing that its a point to point flight and that nothing can be done(although tickets for Delhi to Ranchi part of the flight were being sold on the internet separately for a much higher amount). After failing to convince AirIndia for more than 2 hours on the conference call and otherwise when i said that I just need a written confirmation of this, they changed their stand and agreed within 2 minutes to cancel my Chandigarh to Delhi flight with a full refund(This highlights the false claims being made earlier to dupe the customer and not just me but all the others of that flight)but before I could ask for the process of cancellation the conference call got cut so called makemytrip again regarding how to cancel the chandigarh to delhi sector of the flight. And the makemytrip operator after saying that he has concurred with Deepak ,directed me on how to cancel the chandigarh to delhi sector of the flight and helped me selecting the reason for doing so. But, when I checked later, the whole flight got cancelled. And on calling makemytrip operator, Aneesh said that a complaint has been filed and a response within 24 to 48 hours would be given. My flight was within 36 hours and makemytrip says that they are unable to do anything right now. This is a case of deceit and cheating.I had even tried to send a mail to sugam e-mail ID but was unable to do so. Further, nearly a month has passed but there has been no reply from Air India. I have sent mails to DGCA employees listed on website( even to Joint Director Level) but there have been no replied. The consumer care helpline 1800114000 is also non-responsive as I have been trying it for days without an answer.
